Four arrested for trying to circulate fake notes

Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 4 (UNI) The district police today arrested four persons for trying to circulate fake notes and seized currency amounting to Rs 1,40 lakh from them.

According to police, the accused, including Ramulu, Gangadhar, Krishna and Mirza Ahmed Ali Baig, were arrested when the gang was moving suspiciously and trying to circulate fake notes in the city, police said.

Police seized the counterfeit notes and one motorbike from them.

One more person, Javed who also belonged to the gang, was absconding.

They were produced before Nizamabad District Superintendent of Police Mahesh Chandra Ladha, police added.
