Former Bihar CM S N Sinha passes away
Patna, Sep 4 (UNI) Former Bihar Chief Minister S N Sinha died after prolonged illness at his residence here this morning.
He was 90.
He is survived by his wife and son, Nikhil Kumar, a Congress MP from Aurangabad, and daughter-in-law Shyama Sinha, a former MP.
Sinha became Chief Minister in 1989. He was elected to the Lok Sabha in 1952, 1957, 1971, 1977 and 1984.
He served the state as a of minister in the cabinet of Mr Vinodanand Jha in 1950 and also in the K B Sahay ministry.
Sinha was critically ill for the past several days.
Several Congress leaders and others expressed grief over the death of the former Chief Minister.
