Dodeja appointed as NHPC Director (Projects)

New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) S K Dodeja was today appointed as Director (Projects) of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd (NHPC), a schedule A enterprise of the Government.

Prior to this, Mr Dodeja was the Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation Ltd (NHDC) Chief Executive Director. NHDC is a joint venture of NHPC and Madhya Pradesh government. He was also holding the post of Executive Director In-charge (Corporate Project Monitoring Group) in NHPC.

Some of his notable achievements include commissioning of 300MW Chamera Hydroelectic Project Stage-2 in about four-and-a-half year against target of five years.

A mechanical engineer by profession, Mr Dodeja has a rich experience of over 38 years.
