Diggy fires broadside at Natwar
Gwalior, Sep 4 (UNI) AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh today accused former External Affairs minister Natwar Singh of levelling baseless allegations against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
''The party is greater than the individual. After charges were levelled against Mr Natwar Singh he made improper accusations against the Premier despite being a Congress MP. Anyway, the Pathak Committee Report has not made any allegation against Mr Natwar Singh,'' he told mediapersons here.
Expressing grief over the alleged murder of Ujjain's Prof Harbhajan Singh Sabharwal, the former Chief Minister said the contextual struggle was not limited to the BJP and Congress but had become a BJP versus people fight.
''The incident exposed the BJP. Whether the Chief Minister is Uma Bharti, Babulal Gaur or Shivraj Singh Chouhan, they are all RSS puppets. Even before filing of the probe report, Mr Chouhan described the incident as a tragedy and not murder. That indicates the CID is under presuure from the government,'' he alleged.
A UNI report fron Guna district headquarters quoted Mr Singh claiming that the Railway Ministry approved, in principle, the starting of a Delhi-Indore 'Garib Rath' train.
''The assurance came from Railway Minister Lalu Prasad during an interaction with me yesterday,'' he added.
