Daga joins IndianOil Board

Mumbai, Sep 4: Mr G C Daga, 55, today joined the board of IndianOil as director (marketing).

A Chartered Accountant, Mr Daga was earlier director(finance) of Steel Authority of India(SAIL).

Mr Daga, who joined IndianOil in 1975, returns home after a two-year stint at SAIL.

Having earlier handled several key portfolios at IndianOil, including international trade, finance, retail, LPG, aviation besides other marketing functions, Mr Daga assumes office at a crucial juncture when IndianOil, currently India's largest company, is focusing its vision to emerge as a fully integrated and transnational energy major with presence across the entire hydrocarbon value chain.
