Bomb found at Imphal market area

Imphal, Sep 4 (UNI) Tension ran high here after police a bomb found this afternoon at Singjamei Super market area.

Police said the bomb was detected near a building complex which was demolished by the government to widen the road on the national highway.

The bomb was concealed in the sand piled up for repair of the road.

The area was cordoned off by the police who said they were inquiring how it was planted in the congested area.
