Bob Brett to train Indian youngsters
New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) After moulding talents like Boris Becker, Goran Ivanisevic, Mario Ancic and Nicolas Kiefer legendary coach Bob Brett will be here for a three-day workshop starting on Wednesday.
The celebrated coach will train junior players in the workshop to be held at the Siri Fort Sports Complex from September 7 to 9, on an invitation from HEAD, a leading global manufacturer and marketer of premium sports equipment, and Delux Sports International, one of the leading providers of quality sports equipment.
This event is a part of HEAD's global strategy to search the talented juniors under its Team Elite program, that provides sponsorships to the upcoming juniors with top of the line racquets and helps these players to perform at the best of their potential.
Players like Sania Mirza, Gael Monfils, Donald Young, Richard Gasquet are among the few Team Elite players who are making their presence felt at the international tennis circuit.
Around 72 players are participating in the three-day workshop, according to a release here today.
Players like Yuki Bhambri, Reshmi Teltumbe, Prerna Bhambri, Sandri Gangotri, Kareena Ahuja, Adyna Nayak among others are looking forward to learn from Mr Brett.
Besides, focusing on improving the tennis skills of the upcoming juniors, the workshop would also include lessons on resistance training to enhance the fitness levels of the players.
