New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) Taking note of the efforts to destabilise the NDA coalition in Jharkhand, the BJP today said that that the government was in place and said it was keeping a watch on the situation.

Asked about the claims of former Rajya Sabha member R K Anand that three of the ministers had defected, BJP Spokesman Prakash Javadekar said the party was in touch with the ministers and the party ''could not comment on an issue where no development has taken place.'' The dreams of the people who want to topple government will remain a dream only, he asserted.

He also declined to react to the statement of Janata Dal President Sharad Yadav stating that his party was ready to face elections.

Party sources however feel that the issue will be settled either way and the chances of and entry and exit of party MLAs could not be ruled out.
