Asom CM refutes scam involvement allegation

Guwahati, Sep 4 (UNI) Asom Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today dismissed allegations of his involvement in the financial scam in the 3rd Assam Police batallion.

Mr Gogoi pointed out that the government had detected the scam and ordered a CID inquiry.

In a press release, he said the allegation of his involvement, brought about by the AGP(P), held no ground as he had himself instituted the inquiry.

The chief minister said no person found involved in any financial irregularities or corruption would be spared.
