AP CM greets Malayalees

Hyderabad, Sep 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today extended his greetings and felicitations to all the Malayalees in the state on the eve of Onam.

In a message, he said Onam was a happy festive occasion of abundant harvest symbolizing a sense of social equality, plenty and prosperity for all sections of the society.

The festival of Onam stands as a symbol of universal love, social equality and amity in the mainstream of life, he said.

Dr Reddy hoped that the festival would strengthen the bonds of love, compassion and mutual understanding among the people.
