'Vande Mataram' in MP offices

Bhopal, Sep 3 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh government has decided that the National Song 'Vande Mataram' would be sung in all government offices, local bodies and panchayat institutions also along with educational institutions on September 7 at 1100 hrs.

Commissioners and collectors have been informed, an official release said here today.

September 7 is the 100th anniversary of the recitation of Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay's immortal creation by Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore at the INC's Calcutta (now Kolkata) session.
