Two killed in separate accidents in Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 3 (UNI) Two persons, including a senior citizen, were killed in two separate accidents here.

The deceased, identified as Vilas Bayaram Kambli (61), was killed at 2220 hrs yesterday when a vehicle rammed him while he was walking on footpath of Mumbai-Thane road near Vikroli in eastern suburbs, the police said here today.

In another accident at Kurar Village, Rajendra Parshuram Bandre (30) was killed when a heavy vehicle hit him in front of the SBI (State Bank of India) branch at Kurar Village, Malad in western suburbs at around 2230 hours yesterday.

Police have registered a case of accident against the two absconding drivers.
