Two held for stealing four lorries

Pondicherry,Sept 3(UNI)Police today arrested two persons beloning to a gang of lorry thieves at Marappalam near here today.

According to police the two were found moving about in a suspicious manner and were taken into custody. On interrogation they --Stalin of Nagapatinam and Selva Kannan of Tirunelveli, confessed to lifting four lorries, two each from Pondicherry and Karaikal.

Police are on the look out for their companion, Chandrasegaran of Chennai.

Police also recovered the stolen lorries from their possession.
