TRS activists stage dharna before Cong MLA house

Hyderabad, Sep 3 (UNI) Responding to the call given by TRS Supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao to exert pressure on Congress MLAs from the Telangana region to join his party in achieving a separate Telangana state, party workers today staged a dharna before the house of Warangal Congress MLA Basavaraju Saraiah.

TRS workers sang songs in support of separate state and raised slogans demanding Congress MLAs to join them. The dharna was led by TRS Warangal Municipal Corporation Floor Leader Narender.

Dharnas and protest rallies were conducted in several places in the Telangana region in support of the TRS demand for separate state.

In Karimnagar, girl students conducted relay hunger strike. In Godavarikhani, journalists took out a rally in support of the cause.
