Monsoonal fury abates in MP

Bhopal, Sep 3 (UNI) Monsoonal fury abated over the past two days in Madhya Pradesh and only a few areas experienced overnight drizzles.

The Regional Meteorological Centre predicted downpours in the state over the next 24 hours.

The western part, Badwani district's Sendhwa received a brief downpour this afternoon.

The capital witnessed light clouds but no precipitation. Bhopal recorded 1,508.7 mm rain since June 1 and the figure was 596.3 mm above average.
