Isam Singh expelled from BSP
New Delhi, Sep 3 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today expelled party MP Isam Singh for indulging in anti-party activities.
Party president Mayawati expelled the Rajya Sabha MP for making defamatory statements against her at public fora after his suspension, said a party release.
The decision was taken in view of Mr Singh's statement to the press yesterday that the party president was selling party tickets and that he had been suspended for opposing the practice, said the release.
''Taking serious note of his 'wrong statements' he was expelled from the BSP today.'' Isam Singh had been suspended from the BSP on Friday for ''indulging in nepotism and anti-party activities''.
