Industrialist abducted from NH

Jamshedpur, Sep 3 (UNI) An industrialist and owner of a sponge iron industries at Balampur in West Bengal has been kidnapped from Kandarbera National Highway here.

Police today said while the industrialist was on his way a few miscreants intercepted his car and abducted him last night here.

The kidnappers then boarded his car and asked Mr Bhalotia at gun point to move ahead.

The miscreants had deserted Mr Bhalotia's car and taken him to some undisclosed place, police said.

Police had launched a manhunt to rescue the industrialist.
