Gulmarg festival from Sept 7

Srinagar, Sept 3: The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department will organise a four-day Gulmarg festival from September 7, an official spokesman said today.

He said the festival would be organised in collaboration with the Gulmarg Development Authority.

The spokesman said the main features of the festival are cultural programmes by local folk artists and school children, exhibition and sale of Kashmiri handicrafts, horse race, road race, cycle race and a golf tournament.
