Two Ford models launched in Vijayawada on Sept 2

Vijayawada, Sept 3: 'Lakshmi Ford' has launched two models of Ford India: Ford Fiesta 1.4 exi and Ford Fusion at a function here last evening.

Talking to newspersons, Company Director R Satish and General Manager P Ramesh said Ford Fiesta, with 'TDCI' engine, was earmarked for entry-level customers in the C-segment.

The 1.4 exi model was built with economical features which attract customers to enter the c-segment. Customers who took a test-drive said they did not find any difference between a petrol and a diesel car.

Mr Ramesh said the Fiesta, stood first in the Limca Book of Records for the best fuel efficiency.

The Ford Fusion, with 1.6 Uratec engine, was suitable for Indian road conditions. The car was similar to a sports car and the driving comfort would take the customer to a higher level of satisfaction, he said.
