Argosy opens office in B'lore to expand base

New Delhi, Sep 3: New York-based Argosy International will open an office in Bangalore, to expand its presence in Asia and service the needs of aerospace and industrial customers in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The new office will be headed by company's Vice President (Sales and Marketing) East Asia Shrikant Awasthi.

A value-added distributor, manufacturer and supply chain integrator of materials used in the manufacture of airplanes and a wide range of industrial applications, the company represents many leading manufacturers in various parts of the world including, Cytec Engineered Materials, Euro-Composites, Akzo Nobel, GE Silicones, DuPont, 3M, Flamemaster, Saint-Gobain and others.

The company also manufactures aluminium honeycomb core for industrial applications.

Currently it has offices in Beijing and Shanghai (China), Taiwan, Malaysia and South Korea. The company also has manufacturing facilities in Shanghai and joint venture manufacturing facilities in Shanghai, Zhongshan and Xian (China).
