Veteran scribe D N Singh dead

Varanasi, Sep 2 (UNI) Veteran scribe Dhirendra Nath Singh passed away at his residence here early today following respiratory disorder.

He was 66.

Mr Singh afflicted with respiratory disorder for the last few days.

Working with Hindi daily Aaj in a senior editorial position, Dr Singh, originally hailing from Patna, was elected general secretary of Kashi Patrakar Sangh in 1987.

He wrote two books and edited five others during his illustrious literary and journalistic life.
