Three railway employees killed in mishap

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 2 (UNI) Three Southern Railway employees were killed and two injured when a push trolley in which they were travelling on was hit by a train at Ayyalur between Kalpatti Chathiram and Ayyalur, this morning.

A senior railway officials told UNI a group of railway workers were on routine duty, when the Madurai-bound Kurla-Madurai Express Train rammed into the trolley.

Two persons escaped with minor injuries.

Senior railway and police officials have reached the spot.
