Six dacoits arrested in Bokaro

Bokaro, Sep 2 (UNI) Police arrested six notorious dacoits from Prabhat and Surya colony area under Chas police station of Jharkhand's Bokaro district last night.

Suprintendent of Police Manvinder Singh Bhatia today said the arrested dacoits belonged to Jamui district of Bihar and had been identified as Pawan Paswan alias Jivan Hazra, Radhe Paswan, Nera Paswan, Tetu Paswan, Bhirgohi Hazra, and Brizmohan Hazra.

Mr Singh said the leader of the gang Bindeshwari Paswan had contested election for Mukhia from Faritadih under Chakai police station area of Jamui.

Police recovered articles valued at Rs five lakh, three country-made pistols, six live cartridges and four bombs from them.
