Rail(DIG) declared absconder

Patna, Sep 2 (UNI) A local court in Vaishali has issued proclamation notice against DIG (Railways) Ajay Verma directing him to surrender before it within one month.

Police today pasted the proclamation notice issued by the court yesterday at the residence of Mr Verma in Rajendra Nagar locality of Patna.

Mr Verma is evading arrest after the CJM had issued arrest warrant against him in a case registered in town police station of Hajipur on January 24 last.

A retired school teacher Rajendra Rai had lodged a complaint against the DIG (Railways) alleging his interference to settle his property dispute.
