PSPB Men enter quarters, women enter semis

Bangalore, Sept 2 (UNI) Title contenders Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) men (Group-A) moved to the quarterfinals, while their Women paddlers entered th semifinals of the 36th All India Inter Institutional Table Tennis Championship played at Sri Kanteerava Indoor Stadium here.

With two more rounds to go, PSPB men proved their supermacy by defeating all the other three contenders yesterday without conceding any match. They blanked Central Civil Service, Coal India and Indian Bank.

Meanwhile, PSPB women did not have to sweat much for a semifinal berth as they trounced Department of Post 3-0 and got a walkover from LIC, which failed to turn up.
