Bangalore, Sep 2 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today.

Monsoon was weak over the State.

Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Kanakapura, K.R.Pet, Mudigere, Agumbe 2 each; Kumta, Ankola, Honavar 1 each.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Forecast for Farmers: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over Uttara Kannada district and at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Belgaum, Shimoga, Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajnagara, Kolar, Bangalore Urban Bangalore Rural districts. Mainly dry weather may prevail over the remaining districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore: Generally cloudy. Rain/thundershowers likely towards evening/night.
