Ministers' resignation trick by Cong, TRS: BJP

Hyderabad, Sep 2 (UNI) The resignation of TRS Ministers K Chandrasekhara Rao and A Narendra from the Union Cabinet was a trick played on the people jointly by the Congress and the TRS, the BJP alleged today.

Party National secretary Bandaru Dattatreya, state president N Indrasena Reddy and state general secretary Dr K Lakshman, talking to newspersons here asked why the TRS leaders had not sent a letter withdrawing the party's support to the UPA governmenet to the President.

They alleged that the Congress and the TRS were jointly staging a drama to 'hoodwink' the people.

Referring to Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's statement that people wanted development of the region rather than formation of a separate state, Mr Dattatreya said if Dr Reddy felt so, he should have told the same to the people during last Assembly election and got their mandate.

Stating that Telangana state would be possible only through BJP, Mr Dattatreya asserted that his party would achieve it through struggle.
