Lone witness comes forward to record his statement

Ujjain, MP, Sep 2 (UNI) Despite four days having passed after a magisterial inquiry was ordered into Madhav College Professor H S Sabharwal's death, a lone witness has come forward to record his statement.

''Up to now, only one person has recorded his statements. Related information is being gathered from various sources and interrogation of concerned persons,'' said Additional Collector Ravindra Singh, who has been appointed the inquiry officer into the case.

A report will be submitted within 15 days after investigation, which is expected to complete by September 5.

He added that other witnesses would record their statements in the meantime.
