Insolvent farmer commits suicide

Hardoi, Sep 2 (UNI) A farmer allegedly committed suicide in Hariyavan area here, after being unable to pay off his loans, police today said.

Kamlesh (30), a resident of Suhasmukhi village, hanged himself last night.

He was reeling under a huge loan, taken from various banks and money-lenders, who were allegedly harrassing him for repayment.

Besides, he had also mortgaged his three 'bighas' of land for the education of his children.
