Four burnt alive in Idukki

Idukki, Sep 2 (UNI) Four people, including two members of a family, were burnt alive in the Vellathuval panchayat area at Idukki district in Kerala today, police said.

The deceased were identified as Konnathadi Konnakkal Mary, her father Joseph and two neighbours.

According to police, Mary's son, Jojo, locked up his mother and grandfather inside the house and set it on fire. Further details of the incident were awaited.

Police have arrested Jojo.
