Doctor crushed to death

Vijayawada, Sep 2 (UNI) A doctor died when the debris of a building fell on him at Gunadala this morning.

Police said the Vijayawada Urban Development Authority (VUDA) and Municipal Corporation Officials issued notices to the owner that it would be demolished today as part of the road widening work.

The doctor, who came out with his things when the demolition work was in progress, was seriously injured when the debris fell on him.

He was rushed to the Government General Hospital where the doctors declared 'brought dead'.

Forty six year-old P Surya Prakash Rao, a doctor who had his clinic on the ground floor of the building, went in to vacate the premises, police added.
