BIS issues ISO 9001/14001 to CCL units

Ranchi, Sep 2 (UNI) The Bureau of Indian Standard has issued ISO certification to Central Coalfields Limited's Pipatwar Opencast Project, Pipatwar Washery and KD Hesalong.

This is the first time, any washery in CCL is being certified to the ISO 9001/14001.

The BIS conducted a three-day audit to assess whether the quality and environmental management at the units meets the international standard.

The issuance of the certificate is expected within two to three months, CCL sources said here today.
