Aranganayagam quits AIADMK, joins DMK

Chennai, Sep 2 (UNI) Former AIADMK Minister C Aranganayagam today joined DMK.

Mr Aranganayagam joined the party in the presence of Party President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

Minister Arcot Veerasamy and Stalin were also present on the occasion.

Mr Aranganayagam began his political career with the DMK, before he joined the AIADMK when the late Chief Minister M G Ramachandran formed the party.

He was the Education Minister, in the previous Ms Jayalalithaa led Cabinet, for a period of one and a half years.
