40 cattle killed by lightning in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 2 (UNI) At least 40 cattle were killed when lightning struck Carwani village in Kangan tehsil of central Kashmir's Srinagar district early today, official sources said.

They said lightning struck the village early this morning when the people were herding their cattle to a particular place.

At least 40 cattle were killed in the lightning, they added. The entire village was inundates with water after the lightning.
