12 acquitted in post-Godhra murder case

Ahmedabad, Sep 2 (UNI) A local court has acquitted 12 persons charged with murder during the post-Godhra violence in 2002.

Judge V Y Desai cited lack of evidence, while acquitting them, yesterday.

The 12 had been charged with the muder of one Ghanshyam Patel in Naroda area on February 28, 2002.
