UBI enhances interest rates on Term Deposits

Kolkata, Sep 1 (UNI) The United Bank of India today enhanced interest rates on term deposits ranging from 25 basis points to 75 basis points in all categories of maturity periods from 91 days and above.

These rates will be applicable to all fresh deposits and renewal of existing term deposits as per the following chart.

Period of Deposits 15 days to 29 days from 4.25 to 4.25 per cent 30 days to 45 days '' 4.25 to 4.25 '' 46 days to 60 days '' 4.75 to 4.75 '' 61 days to 90 days '' 4.75 to 4.75 '' 91 days to 179 days '' 5.25 to 5.50 '' 180 days to less than 1 yr'' 5.75 to 6.00 '' 1 yr to less than 2 yrs '' 6.25 to 6.50 '' 2 yrs to less than 3 yrs '' 6.50 to 7.00 '' 3 yrs to less than 5 yrs '' 6.50 to 7.25 '' 5 yrs and above '' 7.00 to 7.50 '' However, Senior Citizens will continue to get one per cent more interest for term deposits of one year and above, UBI sources here today said.
