Test drilling begins in Kawas

Jaipur, Sep 1 (UNI) In a bid to drain water in the flood-hit Kawas in Barmer district the administration has started test drilling.

The state government will install pumps in the areas where drilling will not be applicable.

Principal secretary, Relief, Dr Lalit Panwar said all efforts are being made to drain water from Kawas.

The work has been accorded highest priority on the orders of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
