Suspected Pakistan's terrorist gives confessional statement
Basirhat, Sep 1 (UNI) Pakistan intruder and suspected terrorist Md Sohel Afzal today made a confessional statement before a first class magistrate at the Sub-Divisional judicial court in North 24 Parganas.
Magistrate Rajesh Gupta had recorded his statement under section 164 Cr P C.
A similar confession was made by his co-accused Juber alias Md Billal yesterday.
Both the Pakistani youths were arrested from Sahebkhali in Hingalganj on August 14 night.
Meanwhile, a petition of Maharashtra police to take both the accused to their possession for interrogation on Mumbai blasts could not be heard by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate court here today. The case is likely to be heared tomorrow for transit remand.
A four-member Maharashtra police team is camping here for past few days to take custody of the two suspected terrorists.
