Stolen idols recovered
Guna, MP, Sep 1 (UNI) Police claimed to have recovered all stolen idols from Gopal temple at Rajogadh in this district with the arrest of one person.
Unidentified thief had stolen five 'ashtdhatu' idols and six brass idols besides worship material from the temple, belonging to former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh's private trust, on Wednesday afternoon.
Rajogadh Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Avdhesh Pratap Singh and Town Inspector Ramlakhan Singh Bhadauria said yesterdy the idols were recovered from Meghraj (30).
Superintendent of Police Vivek Sharma said about 20 idols were recovered from the accused. This would help resolve several other cases.
