PDF extends full support to J

Srinagar, Sep 1 (UNI) The Peoples Democratic Forum (PDF) today decided to continue with its support to the coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir.

This was unanimously decided at an emergency meeting of PDF workers and office bearers summoned by its Chairman Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen.

Mr Yaseen said the PDF would continue with its support to the coalition government for fulfilling the commitments made under the Common Minimum Programme which includes speedy and equitable development of all the regions of the state, besides weeding out corruption and providing responsive and transparent administration to the people.

He said the PDF advocated involvement of all mainstream political parties as well as separatists groups in the dialogue process so as to find an amicable solution to the Kashmir issue.
