'No need to submit report on Telangana'
Hyderabad, Sep 1: Union Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who is also a member of the UPA sub-committee on Telangana, today said there was no need to submit a report on creation of Telangana to the Centre in view of two TRS Central ministers quitting from the cabinet.
At present no party was asking the report on Telangana, he told newspersons here.
The Union Government as well as the UPA was committed to the development of Telangana, as the issue was included in the Common Minimum Programme, he added.
He said the committee would continue with its duty but the report would not be submitted to the Centre.
