Nikkei opens lower as Kyocera declines
TOKYO, Sep 1 (Reuters) The Nikkei average fell 0.42 percent at Friday's opening as investors took profits in Kyocera Corp. and other high-tech stocks that posted large gains in the previous session.
The Nikkei was down 65.57 points at 16,075.19 as of 0003 GMT.
The broad TOPIX index was down 0.33 percent at 1,629.14.
