Indian disappears with building materials worth millions

Dubai, Sep 1 (UNI) Police and traders are hunting for an Indian who disappeared with building materials worth several million dirhams.

The 7 million dollars scam came to light when one of the victims visited the building supply company's impressively appointed office after telephone calls went unanswered.

Since last night, 11 companies have come forward to file complaints against Golden Channel Trading Establishment, run under the name of Abdullah Pakku Mogar.

The owner of the warehouse, where the company had kept goods taken on credit from various suppliers, said the premises was hired only for a month to store goods shipped from Australia.

The company staff of 15 people disappeared on Saturday apparently after removing truckloads of goods on Thursday and Friday night.
