Huawei Tech India opens new facility in Bangalore
New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) Huawei Technologies India, the largest research and development center of China-based telecommunication solutions provider Huawei Technologies Ltd, today opened its new facility in Bangalore.
The facility will develop optical network products and wireless LAN solutions.
''The new facility will be engaged in the development of cutting edge products/components in wireless LAN domain and Optical domain,'' company's Chief Operating Officer George Huang said.
The unit will accommodate 180 software engineers as also a team working on Wireless LAN domain related software development catering to the Wireless Switch and Wireless Access Points products.
Huawei Technologies Ltd's optical solutions, ranked 2nd in the global optical network market, are widely deployed in over 100 countries and serve 28 of the world's top 50 operators by providing IPTV services, Triple Play (high speed Internet, television and voice) services, mobile services and leased line services.
