EC debars 27 people from Haryana from contesting polls

Chandigarh, Sep 1 (UNI) At least 27 people from Haryana have been debarred for three years from contesting any election in the country by the Election Commission.

The Election Commission has issued an order saying that in spite of giving a number of chances, these 27 candidates have failed to submit details of expenses incurred while fighting the assembly polls in February last year.

Therefore, the EC has debarred them from contesting any election for three years till August, 2009.
