New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) The Congress today said there was nothing objectionable "in the tone, content and approach" of the letter addressed by Prime Minister's Media Advisor Sanjay Baru to the newspaper editors.

Congress Spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters here that he had seen the letter from the PMO "in a holistic perspective." It did not relate to any particular individual or institution but to the security set up in the PMO and his residence.

The PMO's letter was a sequel to a complaint lodged by the SPG raising the issue of security substantiating it with several facts, he said, adding it related to the security of the Prime Minister.

Mr Singhvi said in view of the security lapse already noticed once in the PM's residence, there was nothing in the text of the letter that could be objected to. There can be no compromise on the complaint of security breach.

Reiterating that the party held the media in the highest regard, the Congress Spokesman clarified that the Media Advisor to the Prime Minister had written in a very polite language asking for suggestions for alternatives in the backdrop of the serious breach in the security in the PMO."The Congress sees nothing objectionable in the letter."
