CBI submits chargesheet against station master

Patna,Sept 1(UNI) CBI today submitted chargesheet against Jamui railway station master Virendra Kumar before the special court in connection with fake tickets case.

CBI had submitted chargesheet against the accused under the various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Corruption (PC) act before the designated judge (in-charge) Jayant Kumar Sen.

The charge of selling of fake railway tickets at Jamui station under Danapur division of Eastern Central Railway (ECR) was found prima facie true by CBI against Mr Kumar.

It is to be noted that huge quantity of fake railway tickets were seized by the vigilance team of ECR from Jamui station on June 22 last.
