CBI submits chargesheet against Rly station master

Patna, Sept 1(UNI) The CBI today submitted chargesheet against the Jamui railway station master, Virendra Kumar, before the special court in connection with fake tickets case.

The station master has been accused of selling of fake railway tickets at Jamui station under Danapur division of Eastern Central Railway (ECR). Huge number of fake railway tickets was seized by the a vigilance team of ECR during a raid at Jamui station on June 22.

The central agency had submitted chargesheet against the accused under various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act before the designated judge (in-charge) Jayant Kumar Sen.
