Calcutta High Court orders puja guidelines
Kolkata, Sep 1 (UNI) Calcutta High Court today reaffirmed the guidelines for holding Durgapuja to be celebrated in the end of this month.
The bench, presided by V S Sirpurkar, held that the puja organisers should carry out the order of the High Court passed on September 30 last year.
The court has asked Advocate General Balai Roy to inform the state home department and implement the order for maintaining peace and harmony during the four day festival.
The guidelines include erection of pandals on the city roads and microphones.
