Bank manager caught red handed when accepting bribe
Patna, Sept 1 (UNI) Bihar State Vigilance Bureau today arrested Ajoy Kumar Sinha, branch manager of a rural bank, when he was accepting Rs 2500 as bribe at Baniapur in Saran district.
Additional Director General of vigilance, Neelmani said that a sleuth of state vigilance arrested Mr.Sinha when he was accepting Rs 2500 from one Rajesh Kumar Mahto for issuing Kisan Credit Card.
On a tip off from Mr Mahto, the trap was laid to nab the bank manager, he added.
The arrested bank official was being interrogated and he would be produced before special vigilance judge at Muzaffarpur, he said.
